I was selected for an interview with the HR department for an Assistant Prop Manager position.
First the lady in charge double booked the interview for two different dates which was totally confusing, later she explained that she was mistaken and we chose one date from the two.
We had a call on zoom, where from the first 2-3 sentences I had the impression she is completely lost and not focused, as she asked me why I am interested in the Leasing position, just to be corrected that we are interviewing for another position for what she also apologized.
Before starting the official interview she told me that this position is for xx amount of money (lot less than the state average) and if I am ok with that or not, if not just to stop the interview in order not to waste time.
After i agreed she asked few basic questions not related to the position which gave me the impression that she is not too familiar with the scope of the work position and just asks general questions with no relevance.
At the end she told me she is very busy and would appreciate if I can send her an email to remind her about the status update as she would most surely forget to do it.
Of course i sent her an email after 10 days to remind her, to which she replied "I will let you know in a few days as we are still in the process" and to never reply again.
"Really" professional process and I just hope the HR person is not a symbol of how the company operates in real life.
