I applied online. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York, NY) in Mar 2013
Interview
Initial phone screening interview, with broad questions about resume, then flown to NY office for two interviews with two managers in each. These interviews were also mostly about previous experience but very in depth. Got offer the next afternoon.
Not too challenging behavioral questions. Asked for a stock pitch. Followed by a very difficult math test. Couldn't reattempt answers. There were 30 second answer periods for the math test.
Hirevue, SuperDay with 3 EDs, and a final round with an MD
Hirevue is just bunch of behaviorals
Lots of technicals for SuperDay and MD 1-1; they'll grill you on trading ideas
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pitch a trading idea
How do you hedge your position
Mostly behavioral questions like using the STAR method. Have knowledge about most recent market events and economic news that are impacting the markets. Everyone that I talked with was very friendly though.
