I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York, NY) in Mar 2010
Interview
I was referred by an employee for a personal banker position. I received a call form the recruiter to come for an interview, which initially consisted of group panel interview with role playing and talking about my sales experience. Then it moved on to the second interview for basic open ended questions to discover personality and basic financial/banking knowledge. The last round of interview went to the district manager who asked me to sell him something and to give a reason to why I chose sales position over analyst position. The final test was to go to the recommended branch to talk to customers in the street and bring them in to open a new account or review an existing account.
