Filled out in store application on Monday. Tuesday at 12:15 got a call while in college. Called her right back she spoke low and monotone. Wanted to know if I could come in for interview on Tuesday at 10 am. I said no because I didn't get out of school until 2 pm, but that I was available after that time for interview and work about 2:30 and on. Weekends open to close. When school is out at the end of April I would be available 7-days, open to close. It was listed as part-time to full-time temp. summer position. I have experience in all retail store operations and management. She ask what I wanted per hour, I ask the range, she said 7 to 8.50, I said is that for someone with all my experience or a beginner. She said it was corporate set at 8:50 and could I work for that, I said yes because I really need a job. Than the kicker she asked if I had children? I said, pardon me what was that, Do you have any children? I hesitated, said well as a matter of fact I do, they are all adults. Then said if I couldn't be available for the interview at 10 am Tue. that it was not going to work, just isn't going to do. Good-Bye I was taken aback to say the least.
