It was fairly standard and somehow the worst interview process I've ever been part of. Most companies move quickly with their interviews. Not JHA. 1. I never met with the TA person or had a single conversation with them. All email. Felt very impersonal. Had no idea how many rounds or what the process was like. 2. Talked to the hiring manager. Very light, high level conversation. Mostly just talking about background and tech. This was fine. Asked about next steps. Was told I would hear back after they made it through all the other candidates. Probably a week. 3. Get an email a little over a week later. Long list of date/times spanning 2.5 weeks. I pick the nearest date. No details about the type of interview I'm expecting. No communication from the TA. 4. The interview was hardly technical. I wasn't sure what to expect. One guy spent half the time talking about how great and recession proof JHA was. The technical questions they asked were very high level. Left the interview feeling pretty confident but also, there wasn't a lot to go off of. Also there was way too many people on the panel. 5. After 2 weeks, I hear nothing but crickets. Finally I reach out to the TA. Later that afternoon I get an automated email from their ATS system stating they would not be moving forward. No explanation.

I passed the interview process with objectively the fastest and best solution. Even after doing well in the technical interview, and discussing everything in the final interview, Jack Henry interviewees spoke on my behalf and claimed I said things which I never said... Which was strange. I had my offer rescinded after trying to negotiate a salary. Do not try to negotiate an offer at Jack Henry if they present an offer.
