I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Jernberg Industries (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2014
Interview
At first I got the call from HR for initial phone interview and then he invited me to be on their site to talk with the manager. The interview went well with a casual style. On my way back, HR called me to go back the second day to talk with other managers because they thought my skills and background were better for materials analyst position. So I went back the second day and I expressed my concern that the interview for second position should not affect my application for the first position. He assured they didn't have correlation. Later I talked with planning manager, planner, and production manager. The planning manager said the top management was thinking to hire some one with strong planning experience, while I only had limited planning experience. The conversation with planner and production manager went very well. Before I left the company, HR asked me to send him my mileage and toll to have reimbursement (I drove almost nine hundred miles for the interview). I sent him the information immediately and followed-up two times. The company NEVER gave me any reply regarding anything!
