Interview
I was called to schedule an interview where I met with the manager. He asked questions about my background and other than that it was very laid back. He asked what hours I would be able to work and if I would be comfortable being on call.

Interview
There was not much of an interview to speak of, so at least it was easy. They had a class that needed an instructor, so they called me and asked if I was still interested, had me come in and basically offered me the job with no real interview. There was one training session with all Adjunct Faculty one evening a few days before classes began. Sometime during the semester, I had a supervisor and my mentor visit my classroom and give me an evaluation afterward, and that was about the extent of guidance. If I hadn't personally sought out instructors of other sections of the class, I would have been totally on my own. I taught only one semester because I realized there was no potential for anything other than teaching one or two classes per semester, there would be no full-time position, ever. There was no reason to tie up my daytime schedule with a part-time contract that would restrict availability for a real full-time position elsewhere, so I declined teaching the next semester when it was offered.
