I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Jungle Scout (Austin, TX) in Oct 2020
Interview
I applied online and a couple days later I received an email from Veerprit inviting me to a phone interview. After my phone call with Veerprit we were in constant communication about where I stood in the process and what my next steps were.
These steps included:
1. Zoom video interview with Clarissa (HRBP) and Allison (Sr HR Ops Specialist)
2. A project to be completed in a 2-hour time frame
3. A final zoom call with Laura (Director of People Operations)
This process included questions to see not only if I was a good fit for them, but if they would be a good fit for me! They truly put a lot of thought and time into making sure it is a good fit for both parties. I was never unclear on where I stood in this process... Veerprits kindness and transparency is a solid reflection of JungleScout and their company culture. This is by far one of the best interview experiences I have had, so of course when I was offered the job I gladly accepted!
The interview process is very clear. The initial round was with Veerprit. She is by far the best recruiter I have ever encountered. She was very helpful and she made the whole interview process enjoyable. She also provided me feedback on how I can improve my interview skills and I really appreciate her for that. The second round was with the current HR Ops and HRBP -- both of them are very friendly and made me feel comfortable during the call.

Interview
I applied through LinkedIn. I submitted a resume and cover letter. I had to answer a few personal statement-like prompts and a few scenario questions. I got an email the following day to schedule a phone interview. I spoke with Veerprit the next week. She was really nice and transparent about the process and payment. It begins with a zoom audio interview to cut down half of the candidates, then you would progress to a video interview with hiring managers, a take home assignment, and a final video interview with the Director of People Operations. Unfortunately, I did not make the first cut.
Veerprit expressed an emphasis on finding good people over skilled people.
