Interview
Had applied online was shortlisted for the phone interview. There were 3 phone interviews: 1 st round : It is done to check if you fit the bill. It was simple Q and A with most question being about the education and some personal question. I cleared this round. 2nd round : Its a Managerial phone round. There were no technical question just a normal talk about your interest.

Question 1
Interviewer: Tell me about yourself ?
Me: Told about my educational background, field of interest, hobbies and extracurricular activities and sports.
The interviewer asked me some questions on my hobbies..(Be prepared to answer questions on your hobbies..they will ask questions to make sure that you are not bluffing)
I answered him confidently :)
Interviewer: Write the expression for De morgan's theorem.
It was a very easy question for engineering level. I wrote it correctly.
Interviewer: Write the truth table for Full adder.
This was again a very basic question in digital electronics. Since my field of interest was Digital electronics , the questions were mainly based on that.
Fair behavioral question and ask about relevant job experience. The overall process is smooth and the interviewer is easy going. Take some time to prepare for company related questions and you should be fine.

1. HR screening, 10min
2. Hiring manager interview. 45min. Need to prepare a 2-slide self-intro.
3. Panel interview with 4 directors, Need to prepare a 15-min presentation on one of the past projects.
4. Local manager interview. 30min

Why would you determine to transfer from academia to industry?
Interview with the Hiring manager was chill but he did not really ask anything about my background nor how I would fit the role.
Instead he asked me some brain teasers, which caught me off guard a little.
