I applied in-person. The process took 10 months. I interviewed at Kanak (Ānand) in Feb 2025
Interview
Also known as a pre-interview, the first usually begins with a one-on-one interview with a hiring manager. The interviewer typically asks questions about the candidate's qualifications, skills, work history and relevant experience. They also try to determine if a candidate would be a good fit for the company culture.

Just interviewing here felt like it's a very dysfunctional and unorganized company and the people (including HR) do not know what they are doing. My experience and qualifications fit the job description to a T, every single bullet point was a match. I did not even have to edit or customize my resume for this position whatsoever. It just seemed like they either had no interest in hiring me or there was no job to begin with. I never saw the position get filled.
I was also completely lied to when I inquired about feedback and asked why I was not selected for the role. I was told something that was not even remotely a part of the job description, which was literally made up on the spot. It was similar to asking a salesperson to be able to code. After I interviewed, I saw the company reviews and the overall score of 1.5 I am not surprised and to be honest relieved that I was not extended an offer. I would not want to be a part of this company and I am glad it did not work out. Good luck to them at whatever it is they are trying to do.
