I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Katecho
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me about this job, and scheduled a phone interview for me that was less than 24 hours later. The hiring manager was 20 min late to the phone interview. I was a bit annoyed by this, but decided to brush it off because I know people are busy. I was first asked about my work history, and halfway though my answer, the hiring manager interrupted me and put me on hold for a 3-4 min because she had to “respond to something for work.” It was extremely confusing and disruptive. When she finally came back, I had to try remember where I was at in my answer and I felt like she was barely even listening. You’d think it would have been a one time deal, but this actually happened a few more times throughout the interview where she interrupted me and put me on hold for a few min. I could also hear her IM and phone going off in the background a lot, which was extremely distracting. Each time after I answered a question, she just said, “Okay” and moved on, so it really didn’t seem like she even wanted to take the time to respond to my answers or at least have a conversation. Throughout the whole interview, she just seemed tired and annoyed that she even had to interview me. I felt extremely uncomfortable and have never had such a bizarre interview experience. I could not believe how little my time was valued, and how rude the interviewer was. Because of this interview, I did not decide to continue forward with the hiring process, and I definitely wanted to warn others of my experience with this company.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Katecho in Jul 2018
Interview
Very thorough; the HR Manager is very straight forward and to-the-point while also being open to answering any questions you might have; very collaborative - I had the opportunity to meet with 3 different individuals during the interview process and gain new insight and a deeper understanding of the role from each of them; overall a very enjoyable experience
I applied online. I interviewed at Katecho (Des Moines, IA) in Jan 2017
Interview
pretty basic, all they do is ask you question like your work history and do a drug test at the end and thats pretty much all and also they might give a tour of the building the day you do the interview so keep that in mind because thats what the did to me
