Extensive, misleading and somewhat unprofessional. I was initially contacted by an internal recruiter who found my profile via LinkedIn. After my phone screening, I was promptly passed onto the hiring manager for another phone interview. The phone interview took approximately 1 hour. About a week later, I received notification for an in-person interview. There were a few hiccups during the process, but it generally went well. The same day, I was told the hiring manager would be selecting candidates to move onto a final interview and that I should hear back within a week. Two weeks later, I receive an email indicating that I had moved onto the next round, a group interview conference call with two directors. The call was scheduled for the following day. The call ended up consisting of 6 people. Now I had no problem with this, but none of them took the time to review my resume or any notes taken previously first. We spent so much time discussing topics that had already been discussed in previous interviews that we really didn't get to discuss much else. On top of that, a few went on tangents, discussing things that were not relevant to the role I would be in. While I was open to hearing it, we only had an hour. With most final interviews reviewing for cultural fit, I felt like they really didn't take the time to get to know me. I was never told what the next step was. After reaching out to the internal recruiter, they told me I should be notified of their final decision within two weeks. Two weeks passed and I hadn't heard anything. I reached out to the internal recruiter to get no response. About a week later, I received a generic "thank you for your interest" email generated from their system. Not a phone call, not anything from the recruiter acknowledging the fact that I had spent over a month going through the whole process.
