I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Keppler Speakers (Arlington, VA) in Oct 2018
Interview
Started with a phone call then an in-person meeting a week later with the SVP of Sales. Asked what I knew about the keynote speaker industry and why I was interested. When asking about my background, he asked what point in time I would like to have experienced. I happened to have used Salesforce before which was a huge help for the job. Offered me to start the next week!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What time in history would you have liked to have experienced and why?
I had an initial call with the Chief of Staff, followed by a small in-person interview with leadership and sales team members. The conversation was a standard interview, including several questions about current culture and politics.

Interview
First interview is normally a phone interview with the company's Chief of Staff or the Sales Associate Manager. While this is a relatively low pressure interview (mostly they're interested in getting to know you & talk through your work experience) make sure you do your homework and spend some time researching the company/speakers, otherwise you will take yourself out of the running pretty quickly.
Second interview you're normally invited to come into the office. Come prepared. Be a few minutes early, dress for an interview, have copies of your resume readily available, and have a few quesitons prepared. Try not to be intimidated by the "scary" conference room they put you in. The Chief of Staff came and sat next to me for my in-person interview which provided an extra boost of confidence and made me feel i had someone in my corner. They care and will help you feel as comfortable as possible during the interview process. You will meet most likely with the Sales Associate Manager, Chief of Staff, and an Sales Agent or two. This will be the interview to highlight a few of the core characteristics they'll be looking for. Are you proactive & a problem solver, are you organized & detail oriented, are you a multi-tasker, are you proficient with Microsoft Suite & internet searches, etc.
There may be a third round of interviews that will be very similar to the second. If the Senior VP of Sales is in either of these interviews he will no doubtedly ask you a few "name that person" questions. Ex: Who is the VP of the USA? Who is the current Secretary of State? Who is the CEO of Amazon? Some will be easy to answer and some you probably won't know off the top of your head. Don't sweat this too much :)
