I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Keyence (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2013
Interview
Applied online and got sent a technical skills assessment test. Basic math and physics problems. After that had a phone interview which was more of a screener than anything, very basic questions, then came the Skype interview which had some sales role playing and sales background questions. Lastly was the in person interview with the district and regional and national sales managers which lasted about an hour. Had me do a presentation on a piece of their equip. and a 5 min sales pitch.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Sales pitch they tried to get me to sell them a pen that wasn't really better than their's but cost twice as much and that's all the info they gave.
Brief phone call, then a zoom interview with hiring manager, then an in person interview with included sales pitch role-play. They give plenty of info about the role-play in advance.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Keyence in Feb 2026
Interview
There were three interviews, initial Talent Acquisition, phone screen (to confirm location preferences and answer questions), then final sales role-play/behavioral interview. There was also a prep session before the final interview where they talk more about the company and you have time to ask questions on the role-play.
Actually it was around 4-5 rounds , they generally assess your communication and creativity. So , we can expect less technical questions . Gd round was quite easy and topics will be very simple
