The whole process starting from the online application up to the Assessment Centre took about 3 months. After the initial screening there were 3 online tests (Verbal, Numerical and Logical Reasoning), then it was required to record the video-interview., than an invitation for a Skype interview with one of the current KH employees and if you pass it you will get to the assessment centre. I passed through all the stages and was invited to the AC, where the whole day was divided into 2 parts. The first part includes 14-20 min interview with two KH employees, then a case study and at the end the panel interview.
What I have noticed, that non of my interviewers was a professional HR, all of them were the ordinary KH employees and read questions from the paper. So, as you can understand if you have a background in the food technology and your interviewer is a sales manager, he will not be able to assess you knowledge level. However, maybe they even do no try to evaluate you as the professional, all the questions are abt you culture fit and mostly behavioural types. For the case study again no one will really pay attention to your knowledge in marketing or supply chain, the most important is to pretend that you are a good team-player and of course be in a right team. In my case I got into a team with two ppl, who were interning in KH at those time, so they new each other for a long time and acted like a team, ignoring the other ppl. As the result all KH interns passed to the next step, other candidates, who didn't show that they were extroverts and super-active team players ( even though they can be a way smarter and more professional) were sent home.
The overall experience is ambiguous among the
Cons: bad organisation and time management, everything is decided and booked at the last second; to be a nice, smiling, cheerful, extrovert and team-player person is more appreciated, than any professional skills. Again so far up to the last stage I was not asked even ONE question related to my background or professional skills, only behavioural questions.
Pros: The pay much attention to this EMEA selection process and are trying to make everything perfect, so if you are flying from other country you can do not worry abt transportation, hotel, etc.
