Interview with three professors. Asked about approach, methodology, research problem statement, future contributions. Might as well similar to MEXT scholarship interviews but has more technical questions. A great path to pursue career in Japan after graduation.

Once you have the proper visa, the hiring process is quite fast. They will be in charge of all the paperwork. It's easier to be hired if you've been a graduate student pursuing research and have the experience. Interviews are easy, normally lead by a laboratory principal investigator. If your experience and background match the lab's interests and scope of research, you're almost done.
