Straight forward, 3 rounds of interviewing. Very good and positive experience till the end. I made it to the final round (a panel round) and it seemed like everyone there was just there for fun. From the first exchange it seemed like they were already not going to go with me and no matter what I said it wasn’t changing (and that’s fine but at least save me the time and effort I put into preparing for the interview). No questions about my work experience or tech skills and again it’s fine if that wasn’t needed for the final round but at the very least please show some interest. Questions asked were about random tech skills not relating to the role and telling me it’s a safe space as they just want to see how I think but like I said it seemed this was just to say they did it. As human beings they seemed cool but knowing the job market and knowing how much effort people put into preparing for interviews they could’ve come with an open mind about me or they could’ve told me they found someone else. Would’ve saved me and them time.
