      Associate Chemist Interview

      8 Jul 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at LG Chem

      Interview

I had a brief 30-minute phone screen and almost an hour on-site interview. The 30-minute phone screen was as usual (asked about your resume, a few skills that I have listed that relate to the job, logistics). The on-site interview focused in depth on technical skills and on knowing who you are as a person, because giving you a job is one thing, but what you bring to the company and who you are as a person are very crucial to them, I feel like.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How do you prioritize different tasks, or how would you navigate an urgent situation with multiple tasks? Have you dealt with situations where you had to bring something up with your supervisor or PI that they might be doing wrong?
