I applied in-person. I interviewed at Lakewood Church (Houston, TX) in Jan 2024
Interview
I interviewed over the phone and at the church. It was a lengthy interview. They were polite, but it was obvious they didn't want to hire me. Not sure why.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lakewood Church (Houston, TX)
Interview
First a call from HR which went well. I didn't feel totally confident with my performance but the recruiter eventually set me up with a face to face group interview.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
How do you keep up with email trends?
"Email trends?", I thought.
I've been receiving emails for 20 yrs. and been in the email marketing business for 5 yrs. - there have not really been any trends to keep up with, it's all the same (relevant content, call-to-action, catchy subject line, best time to launch).
Irrelevant question as far as I was concerned.

Interview
Was interviewed via phone first, then called in for an in-person interview. Was interviewed by supervising attorney and legal assistant who were both very welcoming and kind. The interview felt like they were judging my character rather than my experiences since I was only a second year law student. They seemed to care about me as a person rather than just another employee.
