Interview
In general, it was a good experience. The entire process took approximately 1 month. After applying, I had a phone interview with one of the senior engineers. This call is an interview! they will ask you questions, and you have to be ready. Then, I had a panel presentation with 4 individual interviews right after.
My recommendation is to know your research very well, practice your presentation, and work on how to handle the pressure. I think they like people that can think well on their feet.

Most of the questions were behavioral like:
- Project that didn’t go well and how to approach differently in the future.
- How can you make our group better?
- Why LAM
- Biggest challenge during research
- Something you are most proud of
- Conflict with others? how did you handle it?
First: Reached out and spoke with a recruiter on call
Second: Had a screening call with hiring manager (HM) for an hour
Final stage: 1.5 hour interview, with first 45 for ppt, second 45 was a panel interview with 4-5 panelists, including the HM and the director
