The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lantern Press (Seattle, WA) in May 2022
Interview
A very awkward series of events, my most uncomfortable interview in over 20 years of industry work. The first loop with head of HR seemed to go very positive, but my next one with CEO & a manager was not pleasant. The manager seemed nice and could answer specific questions about her role needs, but the CEO came across as impatient, and defensive about an area that I am an SME in (not him). 30 minutes into our hour long scheduled call, he said "I think that's all I need to hear" and effectively ended the call there quite abruptly. I was in shock, this had never happened to me at any level of an interview let alone with a c-suite executive. Unfortunately it told me a lot about the working environment, and confirmed several poor reviews from other former employees/interviewees.

Interview
Found the position on craigslist and applied through email. I had a brief phone screen with a member of HR who did a good job describing the position, the company, and culture. Led to an in-person interview with the print supervisor and production manager. We talked at length about the position, qualifications, expectations, and the company mission. Very professional and relaxed. Took a tour of the manufacturing floor where I was introduced to their processes and where I could expect to be working. Very clean!

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Lantern Press (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2019
Interview
The preliminary process took over a month, HR was unreliable (even forgot to send my interview confirmation with address) then was a day and a half late with the results. They Interrupted me while giving my answers which would have been fine if the interview carried naturally after that point but it was more of an abrupt halt on some of my answers ( to talk about their dog) Overall extremely displeased with this company and would have not dedicated my time to them if I had known how flaky they were.
