30 minute initial zoom interview. Then an onsite interview with a job talk, panel interview, and a few 1-on-1. Had a tour of the entire lab, had lunch with a few staff scientists. Overall pretty chill, everyone very friendly.

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Lawrence Berkeley Lab
Interview
First, a half-hour phone screen. A month later, an on-site interview for a whole day, with several one-on-one interviews and a presentation to a group of around 20. At the end, a lab tour. After waiting with no update for more than two months, I finally got a rejection email.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lawrence Berkeley Lab (Berkeley, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview was scheduled two weeks ahead. There were four people in the interview panel. The interview started with a presentation from myself and then the panel asked questions for 20-25 mins. At the end, I got some time to ask if I have any questions.
