      Licensed Real Estate Salesperson Interview

      26 Mar 2015
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Level Group (New York, NY) in Mar 2014

      Interview

Very fair and quick. They just want to make sure that employees are able to handle the high level of independence that comes with this job at this firm. The commission split is great and reflects that. However, if you want a mentor or someone to walk you through everything, you may not be best suited for this firm. That was not meant to scare anyone, or put down the support system of the firm, just making it clear why they want to know that you have a full understanding of how real estate works and what you need to do to get the job done/close deals/complete and submit paperwork/record in company deal tracking software.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me the basics of a rental agreement and just make sure you have a very good understanding of the New York Real Estate market, which most full time agents do. The office is geared toward those with the ability to work 95% on their own from their own set up.
