Interview
Completely messed around from start to finish. I was informed of the role via a friend that had applied for the original role of HR analytics, she was informed it had now changed to HR Manager and recommended myself. My CV was submitted to be told I was over qualified and they did not want to see me. Two days later I received a call to say they would like to see me as I seemed the ideal candidate ( I should have gone with my instinct and not wasted my time). Went to the interview and was interviewed by two very junior employees they didn’t answer any specific questions and did not seem interested in what I had to say. Interview was very rushed.
I had to chase feedback and when I did receive feedback they said they are now looking for HR analytics ??? I was also informed that because I use workday I would not be competent enough to use reporting tools via other systems!
Advice - be clear about the role you are offering and perhaps have training on interview techniques
