I was initially put through 3 rounds of interviews. 1st round was with the recruiter. 2nd round was to meet in-person with the recruiter and the manager. 3rd round was with the same group plus the owner of the company, in which I thought this would be the last and they'd make a decision but surprisingly it wasn’t. They had me come back yet again for a 4th round with the recruiter, manager, and a bunch of other department managers that really had nothing to do with the role, had no business being there, yet were grilling me on my experience. At first I was very optimistic about the prospect of working here, but after explaining my background, work processes and qualifications for the 4th time it got really tiresome. After this interview, I knew this was a company that I didn’t want to work for. If you can’t determine a viable candidate after roughly 2-3 interviews, that signals that you have a lot of internal issues you need to work out.
