I had schedule interview for one day, I applied online but the process took 1+ months. I interviewed at Linamar. It took approx. 30 min(Guelph, ON) in February-2017. I heard about the decision on my candidacy only a couple of days later. After that was training for 3-4 days and after that I start to work.

Do you have any prior experience as a machine operator?
The Linamar machine operator interview is straightforward: brief phone screening, in-person interview with supervisor, skills/aptitude questions, tour of the shop floor, discussion of shift availability, safety awareness, and final HR confirmation.

20-minute interview with general questions regarding my resume, as this job requires no prior experience. After 3-4 hours, they gonna send you a job offer letter. So the process is quite simple to apply on the Linamar career website, and if you get an interview, you might gonna selected for this position.
Very informative, and direct. Explain the importance and expectations of the job applied for. Talk as if safety is high on the list of qualifications and prioritized. Great information given and received.
