I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LiveRamp in Dec 2021
Interview
Started with a 30 minutes interview with a recruiter. That included standard background questions. After that I had a 30 minute interview with a member on the team. Started off well until he asked some off the wall random "brain teaser" question. It was clear after I didn't give him the response he wanted I was not moving forward. Honestly any company that denies you based on the question he asked isn't a company worth pursuing.

Question 1
Describe a time when an implementation did not go well?

30 min call with someone on the team. Followed up by a interviews with 3 others that included a powerpoint presentation on how you present to a technical and non-technical audience.
The interview itself was fine. My major issue was with recruiting:
- During the interview process, none of my emails asking questions about it were returned.
- Details about the presentation were not clearly defined causing a lot of confusion
- Waited weeks after my panel interview to find out I didn't get the position. After a month long process I only received a generic auto email indicating the position has been filled and they are no longer interviewing for the position. That kind of response is reserved for applicants prior to interviewing. Not for candidates completing the entire interview process.

Question 1
How you manage your projects and how you communicate effectively.
Appreciate the time you took to share you experience. I am sorry to hear that you experienced delayed and automated responses. You are right - when candidates take the time to go through our virtual on-site, they should receive a phone call with our decision. As for the presentation prompt, it has recently been retooled by the hiring team based on feedback similar to yours. Feedback is the fuel for our improvement so I thank you for providing specifics.
We wish you the best of luck in your search.
I applied online. I interviewed at LiveRamp (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2020
Interview
My interviewer was yawning throughout the process and was audibly distracted by his home environment. He would ask a question and cut me off about 10 seconds later. I ended the 30 min interview early because the recruiter was obviously not engaged and just wanted to finish his day. It's a shame that such a promising company is represented that way.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and I am sorry that it was less than stellar. We strive to ensure a positive process for all candidates (and hiring managers). Your feedback is valuable and will help us get better as a team.
While your recent encounter may not have been positive, I do wish you the best of luck on your career search and hope you may consider LiveRamp in the future.
