At first, I was hearing from this company and the recruiter constantly about more people to interview with. Then I was told I was the furtherest along in the process and would have to wait until they interviewed other people. I never heard from them again- which was especially interesting because as soon as I had one interview I was emailed a survey about the candidate process. A few things really bothered me about this whole process, beyond being ghosted. I asked early on about the benefits package and they were extremely tight-lipped. This is a dealbreaker for me. If the health insurance isnât good, Iâm not even going to be interested in moving forward. Secondly, this was a remote position, but once an executive found out I was only a âshort 90 minute train ride each wayâ from the NYC office, it was encouraged I come in. And guess what? They hired someone in Texas.
