I met with some team members and a manager. The initial screening was typical, about background information. The following interview was a presentation where very few questions were asked. At the end of the presentation interview, a manager asked what my salary is at my current job. This question is illegal in some states, which I don't think this person was aware of (it is currently legal in Idaho where the company is based). This question is a pay discrimination tactic, and there is a running list online of states that have banned this question. Search for "Salary History Bans" to see if your state allows this question (still shady if legal though).
