I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Mill Hall, PA) in Jan 2010
Interview
I applied for the job over the internet. I received a phone call asking if I would come in for an interview. I spoke to the HR Manager, the Front End Manager, and the Store Manager. Of course, the experience was very nerve wracking, as I hate interviews, but everyone was very nice. It wasn't a bad experience, even though I'm very shy. I got the job!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I just remember the Front End Manager asking a lot about what I would do in certain situations and what I've done in certain situations. It was kind of hard to think like that on my feet, but it wasn't too hard. I just emphasized teamwork and getting along with everybody. Lowe's prides itself on being a team and a family.

Interview
It starts with an online application, sometimes followed by a short 15–20 minute phone or video screen where a recruiter checks your availability, experience and communication skills. After that, you’ll have an in-person interview with the hiring manager covering customer service, teamwork and basic job capabilities, with questions like how you’d handle a price dispute or a short register drawer.
