One of the worst interview experiences for an executive role. Recruiting team performed the initial phone screen 6 weeks after applying. I was told I would be scheduled for the first round of actual interviews. Two weeks later, I received an email to schedule the first interview in three weeks. As we're finalizing the date/time of the interview, I received a call to tell me someone else has been offered the role earlier that day.
So 8 weeks after applying, and 2 weeks after the initial phone screen, I'm being scheduled for the first round of interviews and told that someone else was offered the role. If my Recruiting team was this disorganized, I would be having serious conversations with the HR VP.
