I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lucid Software in Oct 2018
Interview
The process was fairly quick and pleasant. Started with a 1:1 video interview with an engineer who administered some coding problems and then left me for an hour to complete them. There were three DS&A problems, two easy and one medium-hard. After the hour, we spent some time discussing my solutions, next steps, and about the company.
The final round interview took place remotely two weeks later. There was another DS&A portion for an hour, and a design/behavioral portion for an hour. The first was conducted by two engineers who asked two problems. The second was by an engineer and an engineering director who asked a design problem and a few resume questions, then chatted with me about the company more.
Overall, the process was similar to other tech companies but the problems were a little more unique (not problems you'd typically see on HackerRank/Leetcode, except for one of the problems) . They were also a bit easier than what I have experienced elsewhere.

Question 1
Very similar questions to other software engineer interview experiences here.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lucid Software (Charleston, SC) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process starts with a pre-screen interview via CodeSignal involving testing general coding framework skills. This is followed by a virtual coding interview. followed by a final four interviews involving algorithms and class modeling.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
60 minute technical exercise on algorithms (Big-O, optimizations)
60 minute technical exercise on class modeling
I interviewed at Lucid Software (South Jordan, UT)
Interview
The first round was an online coding problem similar to leetcode. The second round was an online interview with a software developer where you code a game for them and the review it with you
The first round was a coding interview, two warm up questions with the last one being a medium (BFS). Second round was much harder questions with design questions towards the end.
