      Question 1

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Lumenalta (New York, NY) in Jan 2025

      Interview

I reached and filled the online application, including my expected salary. Within a day or so I got a lengthy email saying that my salary requirements were outside of the range for the role and asking me to schedule time to negotiate. That rubbed me the wrong way considering we hadn’t even interviewed yet. So I replied back and asked what the range for the role was. They sent me a rejection letter almost immediately. Any company that goes to those lengths to hide their salaries will never pay you what you’re worth. Stay away from this company.

      Interview

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! After completing the interview with the hiring manager and submitting a code challenge, I was left in the dark. Despite sending follow-up emails to multiple people, including the hiring manager and the recruiter, I never received a response. No update, no feedback, no rejection. Just complete silence. It's unacceptable for a company to ignore candidates who have invested time and effort into the hiring process. The lack of communication and professionalism is staggering.
