I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics (Bethlehem, PA) in Dec 2012
Interview
The interview process was highly disorganized- the individuals who were supposed to interview me did not show up, therefore I interviewed with the same people who I had been phone interviewing with. They wasted 2 full business days, mid week, when I had to skip school. They were highly disorganized, rude, and unprofessional. They refused to answer questions about compensation and benefits. After all this time, the denial of my application was done with a canned email response and none of my contacts at the company would answer any emails that I sent to ask for any feedback.

Video call to review resume and qualifications as well as to explain the role in more detail than what was provided on the job posting. The process was very seamless

Question 1
How would your experience fit into a technical sales role?
It was a good experience, didnt explain much about the job. No salary was provided at time of interview. Would have liked to dive deep into the job to see what it intails.
Extremely thorough and professional throughout the entire process. They clearly had put a tremendous amount of thought into every aspect of each interaction. You need to be on your toes and make sure to ask lots of good questions.
