The whole process was very chill. this was only a part of the whole interview process, so I still have to get through the other interviews. Overall pretty easy and i wish all interviews were like this.
I interviewed at Lynden Incorporated (Calgary, AB)
Interview
You walk in there, They are looking for a couple things:
1 a person that is not going to jeopardize their company by making a bunch of mistakes.
2 a person that is not going to be rude to other employees
Daryll or someone will ask some feeler questions, such as:
"Tell me about your previous experiences" or "tell me about your career goals"
If you have any experience share it it's good for them to know, It's not that important what the experience is. What they are looking for is seeing if you are rude or bad mouthing other people you are a lot less likely to get the job.
They value punctuality stamping time cards, kindness, and they value being careful making sure products are right. If you have these you will likely get the job.
If you pass, they will then get you to go to IS2 and sign some forms. you work under them for like 6 months then they switch you to a permeant role at lynden.
Applied online, which was simple and easy to navigate. A recruiter reached out and outlined the entire process. During the phone screen, the recruiter was incredibly kind and absolutely sold me on the culture. Truly wish every interview experience was this pleasant!
