an email about coming in for an inperson interview at the MAC counter, general questions about your working history and what you know about retail. it was very retail focused and discussion of induvigual KPI's and the hours you'd be expected to work. overall welcoming and no need to have a vast knowledge of products as there was reassurance there will be training during the onboarding process if successful, got contacted on the other side of the weekend for my second in person activity and it was out of colour matching foundation or a lipstick application on the interviewer, it was foundation matching and it was very straightforward as the scout was looking for the inperson interaction and how you'd talk with the client, found the perfect match and was offered a position there and then

Interview
The process itself was pretty quick. First you apply online, then complete a video interview. If this is successful then you will be invited to complete a skills test/trial on counter and then if successful after this, you will need to complete your Store Approval interview with the Manager of the store in which your counter is located.

Online video recording first then face to face interview and practical either they will ask you to bring a friend in or provide someone for you this could be on same day as face to face interview. For me it was a separate day.
