      Umbraco developer Interview

      22 Mar 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Madiun, East Java
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at MBLM (Madiun, East Java) in Oct 2025

      Interview

The interview process for an Umbraco Developer role was generally smooth and well-structured. It started with an initial screening call where the recruiter discussed my background, experience with Umbraco, .NET, and overall fit for the role. This was followed by a technical interview focusing on my knowledge of Umbraco CMS, C#, and web development concepts, along with discussions about past projects and how I approached problem-solving. In some stages, there was a take-home assignment or practical task to evaluate real-world coding and implementation skills. The final round typically involved a deeper technical discussion or presentation of the assignment with senior developers or the hiring team. Overall, the process was professional, conversational, and took about one to two weeks to complete.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

One key question they asked was to explain how I had used Umbraco in a real project, including how I structured content types, handled customization, and solved any challenges during implementation. They were particularly interested in my problem-solving approach, asking me to walk through a specific issue I faced in an Umbraco or .NET project and how I resolved it step by step.
