Don't apply to this company. The person to interview me seems intrinsically tied into the company:
I expressed my expectation that Technical Debt would be a problem since they were a small company with so many software tools. While I planed to ask how they handled technical debt, stage one wasn't a technical interview, so I first asked whether she was familiar with Technical Debt?
My interviewer got a little upset and said that she knew what Technical Debt was and is more qualified than me in more fields than me and knew more than me. Also she pressed that her company was growing quickly.
Making sure to stay calm I asked her "In your words then, what is Technical Debt?"
She snappily stated "You're the one being interviewed."
I stated that I had skills good with helping manage Technical Debt and I might have sounded sceptical when I then asked "How does the company currently manage its Technical Debt?"
It's no surprise that she got angry at this point but she maintained a level of professionalism, which is good.
If you think I could have avoided that; well yes but as soon as her go to answer was claiming that she was more qualified than me, I had lost interest in the position.

Interview
The interview process was formal, professional and courteous. I was greeted and welcomed at the door and offered refreshments in the foyer.
While awaiting the interview, a pre-interview form was presented including a position description for perusal while qualifications were copied and refreshments provided.

Interview
The first and second face to face took over 2 hours each.
I was told that psychometric testing was so that the company could consider how to manage me however results were not checked prior to 2nd round interview. It was clear the MD was a micromanager
The MYP interview process is very thorough. We acknowledge receipt of applications and always advise candidates of the outcome of their application. Both first and second interviews take up to one hour each. In addition, we do conduct internal psychometric profiling which is always marked internally prior to a second interview being scheduled. This typically takes approx. one hour.
MYP has a very flat structure and this suits candidates who are keen to engage, contribute and drive their own KPIs.
