Usually starts as an initial phone screen with the manager or CEO. Next you will have a video interview with the leaders of the team. Finally they give you a take home design challenge test.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mad Designs
Interview
First there was a phone screening, then I did a portfolio review, then I did a quick test project that I presented to the team. It was very pleasant and straightforward.

Question 1
Show and explain your fav app or site that you have designed? How do you like to work? What design programs can you use (Adobe, Figma, Sketch, etc)?
I typically do not leave reviews but I had a really bad experience interviewing with this company. First off, I was emailed by the company to schedule my screening call with the CEO and once the date was confirmed they told me to call the CEO which was odd. So the day came and I called the CEO, she was very unprepared. First off she didn't know who I was until someone else in the office told her (I heard this). The entire time I felt rushed by her and it almost felt like she did not want to speak to me. Keep in mind this call lasted only 8 minutes even after I asked her 3 questions. Even if they decided to move on with me, I wouldn't due to the unprofessionalism of the CEO.
