I spoke with this company 3 times regarding the opportunity. Each time the conversations were excellent. I was told they had a few other interviews but would get back to me in a few days. Never heard a thing! I emailed the recruiter after almost 2 weeks to ask the status. She didn’t reply. I then emailed the manager to follow up and no reply. I’ve been in the workforce for a good amount of time and have had my share of interviews. I’m disappointed in the lack of professionalism. It takes a lot of effort to search for a job, go through the process of multiple interviews, and consider relocating. The least this company could do is stay true to their word and provide a status update. Ghosting an applicant is definitely a bad look for Makai HR.

Interview
I Applied online via LinkedIn and the process from there was very smooth and easy. After being contacted by the initial recruiter there were 3 interviews following each more in depth than the last with regard to my work experience and where I see myself as a fit with the company. Communication was excellent the entire time and straightforward from the questions and examples they were looking for.
