I applied online. I interviewed at Marist College in May 2026
Interview
It was fine and a relatively straightforward process. I appreciated that they took me on time for my interview; however, initially, they told applicants they would inform us of their decision within two weeks. However, no one heard back for five weeks, which was significantly past their estimated timeline, and they did not respond to some applicants' emails requesting an update.

Question 1
How I would speak to a prospective student and their family who is not 100% set on attending Marist to help convince their decision.
One in depth interview, incredibly kind people. Reviews your resume, asks about previous experience. Interview questions you get here are general that you would expect elsewhere. You know it’s a good group of supportive and hardworking people.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Marist College (Poughkeepsie, NY) in May 2024
Interview
It was a group interview with the director, middle school coordinator, admin, and a couple of other college staff. Everyone was friendly and personable. I thought the interview went very well. I was asked if offered the position would I accept and I said yes. I was also asked to send references. After sending references, I did not hear back for two weeks and then received an email stating the position has been filled. I had another job opportunity in the works so did not proactively reach out for an update, but it was very strange as they seemed to want to offer me the position.
