Interview
3 telephone (not video) interviews with three different people. First my would-be direct supervisor, then her boss, and then the head of HR. Each interview ranged from 30-60 minutes. Questions were about hard skills, soft skills, culture fit. Why I was leaving my current role; what I was looking for in my next role. What skills I felt was important for a social media person to have. What resources would I need access to for the best possible success.

Interview
There was a phone interview, then I had to submit a blog and social media assignment to get an in-person interview. I was able to get an in-person interview and met with the Social Media Manager and her Manager. The interview was an hour long and it seemed like it went well, but smiles can be deceiving. I received a rejection email and asked for feedback but no reply.

Interview
Got a call back after sending in Resume/CL. Met with the President of the division. He was great: smart, had great ideas for the division, seemed like a reasonable person and doing some cool things with the organization. I felt the chemistry as though we would work very well together - and I'd be driven to acquire new knowledge and hit the sales road hard, both on the phones and live. Thought I'd probably get a call back! But alas, they went a different direction. My only complaint is that "media" and perhaps "social media" came up in the interview however these were not on the job description -- I played down my social media experience in the interview because I didn't see it coming. Oh well! This is a great job for the right person!
