I originally interviewed for a coordinator role and it became pretty clear during the process that I was overqualified. The interview was almost two hours long and felt a bit intense for the level of the role. While the team seemed to like me, they didn’t really have the right position available at the time.
Interestingly, they reached back out over a year later when another role opened up, but by then I had already accepted a different position. From the outside, it looks like there are definitely some great perks to working here, but it also seems like a challenging environment. One takeaway for me was that the interview process felt longer than necessary to determine fit—especially since it ultimately confirmed that the role wasn’t the right level for me. They weren’t wrong, as I ended up in a manager role afterward.
