MathWorks is actually quite friendly to graduate. They have regular open events where they have students attending. I attended their open day event and then chatted with various people there. I handed my CV to a guy there and introduced myself. The next day I got an email from him inviting me to an "informal chat" at their office. In the informal chat, which I considered to be an interview actually, I was asked mainly for my background. I was asked for giving an example of debugging a complex program. I only managed to give an "obvious" debugging.
