My interview process at Matt & Nat was smooth and welcoming. After applying online, I received a call for a short phone screening where I discussed my retail background and availability. I was then invited to the store for an in-person interview with the manager. The questions focused on customer service, sustainability, and my ability to work in a fast-paced environment. I also spoke about my interest in the brand’s values and how I handle different customer scenarios. The overall vibe was professional yet friendly, and it gave me a great sense of the store’s culture and expectations.

Matt & Nat is known for its commitment to sustainability and cruelty-free fashion. How would you share that message with a customer who’s unfamiliar with the brand?
They asked questions about what I know about the products, why they should hire me, and the infamous tell me about yourself. They also asked about how I work in teams settings and where I see myself in five years.
