I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr in Jun 2026
Interview
Reached out to by a recruiter. Initial interview done via zoom. Second interview was in person and lasted about 2.5 hrs. During the second interview you are given a tour of the warehouse and property. Then you do an exercise where you are looking for solutions for a customer. The behavioral questions are standard, but I feel that the person who interviewed me was “on” and was enthusiastically fake, not showing their true nature which is typically a red flag. I walked out of their feeling like that would not be a culture that I would do well in. When I asked questions to the multiple interviewers, they all stated the benefits were the best part of the company, not anything else about feeling like the do fulfilling work.

Interview
I originally applied for a different position but they reached out for me to interview for this one. The interview was about 30 minutes long where I was asked in depth about my work history. I never heard back from them about moving forward or not even after following up.
