The interview process was not well organized, all communication was through the SmartRecruiters platform with no central contact and no outline of the interview process.
My first two interviews were with fellow Digital Solutions Designers, however I did not know this until the interview started. There was no initial screening interview with an HR Associate to even discuss the role. In fact, the second individual I interviewed with was listed as an HR Associate on SmartRecruiter, so I was quite surprised to jump into another technical interview.
Both of these interviews went really well and I was excited about the company, though there were a couple of red flags (no salary discussed, both team members were new to the company, asked if I would mind working outside of business hours to accommodate requests from EU/Asia clients).
My final interview with the manager of the team and another corporate figure was terrible. Even if I received an offer, I would have declined and I definitely won't apply to the company in the future. This was the only video interview I had, but only the manager turned on the camera. The other corporate representative sounded like he was completing my interview from a restaurant (it was during lunch time). The manager asked really vague questions and then almost seemed annoyed when my answers weren't more specific. He kept saying, "Let's go a little deeper" and would ask me to give another answer instead of asking me something like, "Tell me about a time where you had to XXX". The manager was young and overall seemed very pretentious and almost demeaning in his line of questioning, as if he didn't believe the experience listed on my resume.
This final interview left me with a terrible taste in my mouth and considering the other red flags and disorganization, completely turned me off from the company.
