Interview process moved extremely quickly at first, followed by a complete lack of communication. I had a screener interview within 24 hours of applying and an onsite with the hiring manager within 48 hours. The onsite lasted 90 minutes and felt engaged and productive.
However, after that interview, I received no follow-up from either the recruiter or hiring manager for over three weeks. I ultimately received a generic rejection email with no feedback.
The inconsistency between the urgency upfront and the lack of communication afterward was disappointing and reflects poorly on the candidate experience.
Advice to management: Improve communication and follow-up with candidates, especially after investing significant time in the interview process
