I did the initial phone interview. I was offered to go in for the face to face interviews at their corporate office. The interviewer said she will get back to me once she checked the schedules of the managers I would be interviewing with. I never received a callback or another email response after multiple follow ups. This demonstrated a complete lack of respect to the interview process. I'm kind of glad I experienced this first before wasting anymore time with this company. It wouldn't be a big deal to tell someone that the position is filled or they are no longer interested in moving forward. Going radio silent is the worst way to treat the process. It was a very easy call. I closed the interview like you have to for any sales job and received positive feedback with next steps. Those never came. I have worked with several people that worked with Medline in the past. I understand its a turn and burn company. They work you very long hours and burn their employees out with non competitive salaries. The only positive they have said is that it gets your foot in the door for healthcare sales and it's easy to find a better job once you gain that experience. I also understand is they don't negotiate well after you are offered. Make sure you get an idea of what they are willing to offer before you spend a day at their corporate office. I had given them a number they said would be doable and my friends that worked there said there is no way they will come close to that.
