I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MeetEdgar in Aug 2019
Interview
Had a great initial meeting with Product owner(Kevin), then a second meeting with 2 customer service heads and a third interview with Dev lead and architect.
All were promptly scheduled and friendly, typical casual interview process.
One dev(Matt) was friendly, human and relatable, the architect (Yuta) was disengaged, distracted and didn't seem to absorb any of the answers I provided before moving on to read the next scripted question in a completely unemotional manner; most of which were generic "give me an example when you..."
I feel I provided reasonable answers and was given the opportunity to ask about some of their challenges, their daily life as a developer. I felt despite my negative experience that the interview went reasonably well.

Question 1
Give me an example of when you had an challenge and how did you overcome it?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MeetEdgar (New York, NY) in Jul 2018
Interview
I went on the three video interviews, all in the same week, with different people. I felt like I had a good connection with everyone. I heard “that’s the answer I was looking for” multiple times when I responded to questions about my experience and work style. Ironically, the person I felt a little awkward around was the person who would have been my manager. She was new to the company, and something about her interview process seemed scripted and forced. I did not end up getting an offer, and it was clear that the rejection email was copy pasted to multiple people (the text formatting was different from the personalized greeting up top).
Very unprofessional interview and process. I was notified right away to schedule a short video chat to "chat about the role" and "answer any questions I might have about the company." This turned into a full interview, and there was no opportunity to ask questions about the role or the company.
The interview was given by someone who was only at the company for a few weeks. Huge red flag. The interview was incredibly unprofessional and no follow-up was given at all. They did not tell candidates when or how they would follow up. I sent an email thanking them and asking for next steps and never heard a single word back.
The whole process is just very unprofessional. If someone gives you an hour of their time to answer your questions, you should follow up with them if they were not chosen for the role. Additionally, if an email says that you will be given a chance to ask questions about the company, that should happen.

Question 1
Demanded to know the exact salary candidates wanted in the first interview, because if it was too high it was laughable and if it was too low it was an issue.
